Terms of Use — ScorelineQuiz

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and ScorelineQuiz ("we",

"us", the "App") governing your use of the App. By downloading, opening, or using the App,

you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

ScorelineQuiz is a single-player football trivia game where you guess the final score of

real, historical matches from a set of choices.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least the age required for digital consent in your country (13–16 depending

on jurisdiction) to use the App. The App is not directed at children under that age. If you

are under the age of majority where you live, use the App only with the involvement of a

parent or guardian.

2. Your profile and nickname

• The App does not use passwords or traditional accounts. You are identified by a nickname and a randomly generated device identifier stored on your device. You may choose a nickname or let the App assign one for you.
• That device identifier is what protects your progress — treat it like a password. It is never shown to you and never shared, and your public nickname reveals nothing about it. Clearing the App's data or uninstalling it removes the identifier, and with it your access to that profile, unless you have linked a Google account for recovery.
• Your nickname is public — it can appear on the leaderboard visible to other players. Do not include personal information you do not want shown.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your profile on your device. Because there is no password recovery in this version, keep your device to keep your progress. See the Privacy Policy for how to delete your data.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Choose or use a nickname that is offensive, hateful, harassing, obscene, deceptive, impersonates another person or brand, or infringes anyone's rights. We may **remove or change any nickname and suspend** access without notice for a violation.
• Cheat or attempt to obtain correct answers by any means other than normal play — including probing, scraping, or reverse-engineering the App or our servers to reveal answers (correct scores are deliberately kept server-side).
• Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the App, our servers, or other users' data; use bots, scripts, or automated access; or bypass usage limits (such as the daily question limit) except through features we provide.
• Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works from the App or its content except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law.

4. Intellectual property

• The App, its software, design, graphics, and original content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by law. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App for your own non-commercial entertainment.
• Match information is presented as factual reference only. Team names, competition names, dates, and results are historical facts. The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FIFA, UEFA, any league, club, or governing body, and does not use their logos or trademarks. All such names are used descriptively to identify real matches.

5. User content (nicknames)

Any nickname or text you provide ("User Content") remains subject to Section 3. By providing

User Content you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display it within

the App (for example, on the leaderboard) for the purpose of operating the game. You confirm you

have the right to use it and that it does not violate these Terms or anyone's rights.

6. Purchases and virtual items (only when enabled)

The App is currently free and contains no purchases. When in-app purchases are enabled

(for example premium features, league packs, or hints):

• Purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, not by us, and are governed by that store's terms in addition to these Terms.
• Virtual items and in-game content have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are licensed to you, not sold.
• Refunds are handled according to the applicable store's policy and your statutory rights.

7. Advertising

The App is free and is supported by advertising, served by Google AdMob.

• A banner appears at the bottom of the question, result, and end-of-round screens.
• Rewarded ads are optional. You choose to watch one in exchange for in-game hints or extra questions. Nothing is shown unless you ask for it, and the reward is granted by AdMob's server-side verification rather than by the App.
• There are no full-screen ads and no ads between questions.
• We ask Google to serve only ad content rated suitable for all ages.
• If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, Google's consent form appears before any ad is requested, and you can reopen it at any time from Preferences → "Ad privacy settings". See the Privacy Policy for what advertising data is involved.
• If an ad-free or premium option is offered in future, it will be described here.

8. Availability, changes, and beta status

The App is provided on an evolving basis and may be in a soft-launch / early state. We may

add, change, suspend, or discontinue features, categories, or the App itself at any time,

including limiting availability by region. We are not liable to you for any modification,

suspension, or discontinuation of the App or any feature.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether

express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the

fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted,

error-free, secure, or that match data is complete or free of inaccuracies. Nothing in these

Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental,

special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, progress, or profits, arising

from or related to your use of (or inability to use) the App. Where liability cannot be excluded,

it is limited to the amount you paid us for the App in the 12 months before the claim (which,

while the App is free, is zero). This does not affect your mandatory statutory rights as a

consumer.

11. Termination

• You can stop using the App at any time and delete your data using the in-app **Delete Account** option (see the Privacy Policy).
• We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the App in a way that harms other users or the service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law) will survive.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Serbia, without regard to its

conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be subject

to the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your

country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last

updated" date above and, where appropriate, notified in the App. Continuing to use the App after

changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
